Sustainability
We are proud to offer products made locally using supplies are chosen carefully and locally where possible. Everything is custom made in small batches by amazing women who work from their homes nearby. We only work with linen, cotton, hemp and vintage fabrics, most of which are either organic or untreated and natural.
We keep packaging to a minimum and avoid all plastic All orders are packaged carefully by hand in the hopes that it will be a special experience to open. Feel free to share any unwrapping experiences with #pilostudio.
Product care
We recommend washing everything by hand, hanging it to dry and lightly ironing if necessary. If a bad stain or spot does happen, try this. Use an old tooth brush. Wet it and rub it in a bar of soap before scrubbing the spot. (We have erased many marks by doing this...)

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Paypal.
All prices are in Canadian dollars.
Canadian customers will be charged sales tax according to each province's specific tax laws. We do not charge sale taxes to customers living outside of Canada, but please be aware when you receive your order you might be charged taxes and duties by your home country although we do what we can on our end avoid them.
Gift cards
We offer both digital and physical gift cards as well as drop shipping wrapped orders directly to the recipient. Email us with the denomination of gift card you would like and who you would like to receive it or any special instructions for gifts at info(at)pilo.ca. Gift cards are non-refundable.
Returns
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If that’s not the case, please contact us via email at info@pilo.ca. Full price items can be returned for credit within 30 days of the purchase as long as the product is in its original condition and packaging.
Please note that all sale items are final sale. All shipping fees are unfortunately non-refundable unless product is determined to be damaged or defective and shipping charges for exchanged items are your responsibility. Once your return is received a credit will automatically be applied to the original method of payment that was used to purchase your item. Please allow 10 days for your credit card carrier or bank to process the transfer of the funds.
Please note: While we make every effort to describe our goods in detail, please remember that with any hand made item, imperfections do occur. Colours may vary slightly between products and what you see on your screen.
Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled up until they ship. Please contact us right away if you want to change anything.
shipping
We do our best to ship your orders as soon as possible! Most orders ship from our Toronto studio within one to three days of receiving your order. Cost is based on weight + size and is calculated at the checkout. You will be sent an email notification when your order gets shipped out. We are not responsible for transit times on all items sent regular post or without tracking. Items lost in the mail will be replaced after 60 days.
Due to the handmade method of production, there may be times when demand exceeds supply. In this case we will notify you immediately with an estimated shipping date, and give you a chance to reconfirm your order.
For Toronto based customers, we do offer curbside pick up. Please use the code ‘shipfree’ at checkout to avoid paying for shipping.
